Feeling overwhelmed?

Feeling a bit overwhelmed and you’ve only just started? So, now you know a little about us, we hope you are curious as to how our Nurse at Home service can help your own IVF journey.

We know how that feels, we want to help. So, you are now at home waiting for your medication to arrive – and yes you had a great medication ‘how to’ teaching session a few weeks ago. However, since then you have been thinking about actually doing it for yourself. If you have doubts or are overwhelmed and stressed about it all, don’t panic we can help you.

Are you wanting to regain some control or just feel supported? Then our Nurse at Home may be exactly what you need. You may only need someone to help you with the first time you have to self inject – maybe just one visit is enough at the beginning of your stimulation phase.

Discretion is of paramount importance to us

We will send you details of the nurse who will be visiting you. You will have the option of liaising with your nurse once we have booked a date and time with you. Our nurses are all dressed with discretion and will always carry their ID. If you decide that you would like a subsequent visit, then we can arrange that directly with you. Please rest assured that all of our nurses have passed all of our stringent recruitment requirements.

Having an experienced Nurse in your corner

This can help you overcome those thoughts & feelings of ‘where do I start’ and ‘what do I do next’. You are likely yearning for someone to turn to just now at the beginning – we can have you feeling confident for those injections. To keep it simple, we also provide the medication and syringes and sharps bin.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed by the process

We also offer one-on-one support sessions to help with those needle nerves. The number of sessions will be determined by you and will end when you feel comfortable mixing and administering the medication on your own. Our IVF nurse can help you remotely via Zoom calls.

Intralipid infusions

Intralipid infusions have been used with IVF treatment to help women who suffer from repeated IVF failure or recurrent miscarriage, or repeated failed implantation following embryo transfer. Fees for administering an Intralipid Infusion: £385 plus delivery, and sometimes plus an extra mileage based on your location and availability of our nurses.

Certain products must be administered by a Healthcare professional.

  • Some clinics propose a third infusion after a positive pregnancy test and monthly ones until the 13-week mark.

Remote Nurse Support
